The heart behind the hands
Hi, I’m Hannah — a mother of three, doula, and passionate supporter of families through both birth and postpartum. Working on a maternity ward in rural Zambia, and my own experience with a high-risk pregnancy, VBAC, and limited support shaped the heart of my work today. I know firsthand how transformative, overwhelming, and deeply meaningful this time can be, and I believe every parent deserves someone in their corner. Educating, advocating, and cheering you on every step of the way!

Doula Services
I serve Bridgewater, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Chester, Tantallon, Liverpool and other villages on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. I attend births at SSRH, IWK, and Yarmouth Regional, as well as home births.
If you’re unsure whether your location falls within my service area, feel free to reach out and ask.
Birth Doula Support
This support includes 2-3 thorough prenatal visits to connect, explore your birth hopes, discuss education, and identify the type of care that feels most aligned for you. During our prenatal visits, we will cover a large spectrum of topics, and I will take the time to answer your questions. I want to develop a relationship from early on so that you feel as safe and supported as possible throughout your pregnancy and birth.
Birth pool rental and TENS rental are included in my birth package.
From 37 weeks onward, I provide 24/7 on-call availability and continuous labour support when you feel ready. Care includes physical comfort techniques, emotional grounding, evidence-based information, partner support, and gentle advocacy to help you feel grounded in your birth.
Once baby arrives, I will stay for ~1 hour to ensure you're comfortable and settled. I will follow up with a visit in the early postpartum days.
I will continue to support you virtually for the first six weeks postpartum (and beyond, if we're being honest!) via text, phone, or email.
Investment: $1200
Postpartum Support
Postpartum services may include newborn care guidance, lactation and feeding assistance, emotional reassurance, light household help, and recovery-focused care to help create space for rest and adjustment. Education is also provided around what’s normal, what to expect, and when additional support may be helpful. Babywearing guidance, and access to my carrier lending library are also included in my offerings.
Sessions are flexible and tailored to your family’s evolving needs, offering calm, steady support as you move through this transition.
